Line of Communication & The Alpha Playbook in Large Group Dynamics

The final semester ties everything together and gives you the structure to deliver the Alpha Playbook to the owner, leader, or manager of any large group and provide ongoing coaching, consulting, and support.

The key is understanding the Alpha and how they are designed to lead, communicate, and find allies within an OC16 structure. Semester 3 will cover:

  •  Building a relationship with Alpha to fully understand their hope, dreams and challenges
  •  The 6 Lines of communication and their relationship to the Alpha
  •  How the Alpha is designed to communicate in the most effective and efficient way
  •  Helping the Alpha find committed allies to communicate their message
  •  Creating specialized teams focused on specific communication
  •  Creating the Alpha’s Playbook of Success 

The Semester 3 Final Project requires working with a team, group, organization leader, or business owner in creating an Alpha Playbook based on the lines of communication and gapping. Once your Final Project is Approved, you will be officially certified as a OC16 Large Business Consultant.

Semester 3 Learning Outcomes

Semester 3 CEUs: Upon successful completion of this semester, you will qualify to receive 3.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Criteria for earning CEUs: Attend and participate in all 10 classes, complete all assignments within the timeframe, complete the semester project with instructor approval, complete payment for class and materials, review and sign the Student Integrity Agreement.

Course Refund Policy

Student will complete an OC16 Leadership & Team Analysis as the cumulative performance assessment at the end of the course.

There are 8 parts required for the Semester 3 Project

  • Part 1 – Team Description
    • Demonstrate your understanding of the team, include its mission, values, and what is important to the Alpha in moving the team forward. Include the charts of the team members.
  • Part 2 – Alpha One Leadership – Personal Management
    • Provide an overview, full analysis or Alpha One Leadership Analysis to the Alpha covering the basics of their career design.
  • Part 3 – Alpha One Leadership – Basic Team Management – Type, Decision, Skills
    • Inform the Alpha how to best work with each individual on their team. Include type, decision, and skills. 
  • Part 4 – How Is the Alpha personally affected by the WA dynamics
    • Explain how the Alpha operates in a large group setting based on the 6 OC16 departments.
  • Part 5 – How to setup the three penta construct of the OC16 and engineer the gaps for maximum efficiency.
    • Demonstrate your ability to divide the group into three pentad and look at the details through the triggering and attribute charts.
  • Part 7 – How is the Alpha Designed to Communicate?
    • Address how the Alpha is designed to communicate.
  • Part 6 – Who are the Alphas Key Allies
    • Identify the Alpha's key allies. 
  • Part 7 – How to establish the lines/channels of communication in an organization.
    • Address the lines of communication within the organization. ie: What teams you can create for a specific focus. How to best communicate information across the organization. 
  • Part 8 – Ongoing work in bringing awareness and grooming the Alpha for success.
    • Include a summary and Alpha Playbook of how they are designed to lead. 

Prerequisite:

  • OC16 Certification Program - Semester 2
  • To officially become a Certified OC16 Consultant, you must first be a Certified BG5 Career & Business Consultant.
