I’ve just completed the first semester of the BG5 Business Institute’s Foundation course with instructor Karen Sherwood and I feel I have such a deeper understanding of the material than when I started.
The language of BG5 really makes Human Design relatable to everyday life, whether business or personal.
The pace of the course was great, not too fast, not too slow, with plenty of time for questions.
The handouts each week were very detailed and will be a great resource for me to learn and apply the material moving forward.

I really couldn't have been more wrong - this is a teaching of depth, nuance and the endlessly fascinating exploration of what it means to be human. I've learned so much about myself during Semester 1 + 2 and I can't recommend this course highly enough. Imagine if BG5 Foundation training was part of the curriculum for 16 year olds as they consider their work and further education choices? We'd transform the world in a generation.

"This first semester of the BG5 Consultant training was a good introduction and overview to how to facilitate the career overview consultation. The done for us presentations really helped me be effective in doing many career overviews in the last few weeks.
This semester has underscored the benefits of the foundations training. I’m grateful for having those foundational trainings to understand how the design works together. I’m excited to move to semester two where the depth of the success codes, and the software becomes accessible.
Karen and the class has inspired me to dive in and deliver client overviews. I have facilitated 13 career overviews and have two more in a few days. I’ve experienced mostly people who can see their design clearly, and one where they didn’t like the overview because it didn’t give them the answer on what ‘role they needed to pivot to in their career’ immediately.
One of the key learnings I’ve had this semester is to not ‘overdeliver’ and to keep things simple, and accessible. I’ve also learned that there is a lot of misunderstanding in the world what Human Design or Career Design is about and how it can benefit them, so I see my role as educational agent to inform potential customers to what is covered, the key benefits and what the overview will and won’t provide! I’m getting people asking me for their profit potential (it’s part of my Penta design)!!!
One surprise this semester is how the traits become skills with the Trans-Auric form. I can clearly see being in a group of three or more how this changes and what gets called out with my family!!! The content and interventions are coming to life for the first six success codes - and it’s changed how I see my own gifts!
Karen makes things very clear and has depth of wisdom for the course. I’m enjoying the learning process and I appreciate her Authority in the content. I’m very satisfied with the training. "

The class dynamics with the classmates is great. Due to the fact that there are all career types and a variety of strengths helps tremendously to get the different perspectives and an understanding which is very valuable when dealing with different clients.
I have participated in countless trainings in my professional career and whilst I learned a lot this BG5 certification training for me is the best training I have taken. It is absolutely worth the money and I will really recommend it to interested people.
