Large Business Consulting: Understanding the Organization of Large Groups

Imagine you are stepping onto the campus of a private primary and high school, with 80 administrative members and over six thousand students. There is an under-current of tension felt in the air. Now, two years later after three years of implementing the Human Design System knowledge, benefits are still unfolding and the school is expanding. Things are looking up and the impact is felt in every single adult, child and parent in the school. Would you like to learn how to facilitate this kind of transformation for your clients and in your community?

OC16 Level 1 training is open to IHDS Certified Analysts and Teachers as well as third year Science of Differentiation College Students. Primarily, OC16 is the next step for BG5 consultants

What is OC16?

Are you ready to dive deeper into fascinating world of the WA?

As a certified Human Design analyst, we learn to understand the individual, and how two individuals interact. As BG5 consultants we learn to work with the Trans-auric field of the Penta, which involves 3-5 people.

In the OC16 Level 1 course, we learn the mechanics of the WA, which involve the organizing channels of 10-16 people. We learn to eliminate tensions in large businesses and organizations. This is a valuable skill that business consultants can capitalize on by bringing practical solutions to their clients.

The benefits of becoming an OC16 consultant are not always obvious, so let’s look at a few of  OC16 Level 1 topics:

Understanding the Hierarchical Structure

When we take a look at nature, we see hierarchy. When we take a look at humanity, it becomes even more obvious that there is no end to hierarchical structures. In any large business (with more than 9 people), there is an alpha, a leader.

Yet simply knowing who the leader is and training them to be the best leader they can be by design does not suffice in assisting our large-business clients. We need to understand how the group, or organization works, its structure its dynamics. We need to understand the flow of lines of communications flow in a large group.

The knowledge in OC16 offers an edge to any business that we work with by helping the organization align with its ideal structure and take advantage of the natural competitiveness while still honoring each individual.

Once we apply the lines of communication, we can begin to unravel the tensions in our client’s organizations. We can help them to achieve a healthier workplace and happier work-force, which improves company morale and increases profit margins.

Unraveling Tensions & Politics

Top management professionals hold the responsibility, power, and influence, but that is not enough. They also need to understand the tensions at play. They need to understand where people fit, and how the puzzle is put together. And they need to treat their employees the way they were designed to be treated, to take advantage of their natural strengths, talents and gifts.

Yet when we look at any large business, we see tensions, we see people fighting, either externally or internally. As an OC16 consultant, we learn the mechanics of the WA, of the trans-auric field. Master this powerful knowledge and you will be able to help any business, or organization, to unravel tensions and politics that can undermine their ultimate success potential.

OC 16 :Training the Alpha

In the OC16 program,we start learning techniques to help learning techniques to help the leader:

  • Understand the dynamics of the organization or business.
  • Reduce tensions.
  • Improve well-being, harmony.
  • Increase productivity and profits in the organization.

The value of implementing the OC16 knowledge.

The above three benefits are just three of Level 1, there are plenty more in Level 2.

Your Client’s Most Agonizing Business Problem Solved with BG5

Your Client’s Most Agonizing Business Problem Solved with BG5

A company’s largest financial investment is typically their employees. Harvard Business Review¹ declares your greatest asset is how you empower those employees with core business practices to work together towards group goals and overcome collaboration challenges. An engaged workforce is critical to maximize financial gains.

But there’s a huge problem facing the business world today. Ready to understand how you can help your career and business coaching clients with the solution?

Three years ago Gallup found that seven out of ten American workers are either “not engaged” or “actively disengaged” in their work²; meaning emotionally disconnected people populate our workplaces and are far less likely to be productive. In another document by Gallup titled The Worldwide Employee Engagement Crisis, they report that “Worldwide, only 13% of employees working for an organization are engaged.”

Gallup’s findings mean that 87% of the workforce currently experiences a loss of real potential. This is a symptom of people frustrated with jobs, in partnerships or with teams they don’t feel successful with. Between things like employee departure and disengagement, employee’s stagnating levels of engagement costs up to $550 billion annually in the US alone.³

Can you imagine a workforce that could be 90% more productive, and what that would do – not only for company culture – but also the bottom line of your business? The solution according to Gallup is to create a culture of engagement, and “Boost engagement levels with strategies to hire the right employees, develop their strengths, and enhance their well-being.”

Using BG5 is a smart strategy that addresses all three solutions. BG5 is the world’s only objective assessment tool that lets you look inside of a person’s makeup to determine:

  • If you are hiring the right employee for the job based on innate strengths/natural talents
  • How to enhance their gifts and wellbeing by treating them according to their nature
  • How your people are designed to work and interact best for highest potential and profit

Results of implementing Gallup’s solution for the problem of employee disengagement are:

  • A more effective and efficient workforce getting along better for increased productivity
  • Employees less likely to leave because they are more likely to feel fulfilled in their work
  • Higher customer satisfaction and a better bottom line for everyone

BG5 is at the cutting edge of Business Consulting and Coaching for it’s precise accuracy and as the only completely objective assessment tool in the world.

Ten years ago people would resort to business coaching as a last-ditch effort before the firing or career change process.

Today, companies of all sizes use coaching as an organizational and leadership development tool. Coaching is not only an accepted strategy for the top Fortune 500 companies’ C-level executives (CEO, COO, CFO), it’s for any manager or team leader. Coaching also has measurable benefits for employees in any company.

Whether operating a small family-run business to mid-size firms, decision-makers of any level – from the business owner, to their management team, to regular employees – all can experience the value of BG5 career and business consulting and coaching.

With BG5, there are no long surveys that pigeonhole people based on subjective opinions and cookie-cutter frameworks. No other business tool gives such a complete picture of the individual, much less all the factors of each specific individual’s interaction with one another or in small to large groups.

How BG5 Helps Solve the Biggest Employee Questions: Discovering the Who, Mastering the Why

There are four parts to a business problem’s solution. Each is equally important to the efficacy of the solution and its implementation.

The What: an analytical assessment of the problem and its potential solution. The What is something CEOs and leaders will have a good grasp of. Their significant amount of education and proficiency in their field, as well as familiarity with big-picture issues facing their industry and organization gives them this advantage.

The Why: 70% of the world is under immense mental pressure to solve the Why of things in life. Through conversations with its people, most CEOs and leaders have a sense of the why’s surrounding the challenges in their business. Collaboration determines our material success, allowing us to discover the truth of why a problem exists. Each business problem’s source or the Why can trace back to a lack of one or more of 12 essential business skills – at the core of the reason why 8 out of 10 businesses fail.

The Why is where BG5 can come in with a business analysis of the organization’s people to show where there are “skill gaps” in the team. Gaps point to why the team in is not representing critical skills and therefore underperforming. When there are gaps, it causes a drain on the business finances and ultimately can lead to the demise of the firm.

The How: is how you get things done to solve the problem. This How tends to be industry-specific; something certain people with particular skills have the experience or know how to get done.

The Who: is critical to the implementation of the answer. A BG5 analysis produces the Who of the executive, team leader, manager, high performer, all the way to who should be the next hire. It can also describe how team members impact each other at a level of detail that points to the source of conflicts and misunderstandings like no other tool in the world can, leading to insights on how to resolve them.

BG5 shows us who we are here to be for ourselves and each other. BG5 provides a map detailing our group dynamics, as well as the way to level-up our performance. Using this knowledge leads not just to success but fulfillment of our purpose as well. Though MBAs may have had education touching on who they are as a leader, often there are blind spots in their assessment of themselves and their people; particularly in how to get the most out of their people. The Who covers how people relate, how they can be mobilized and motivated, how they interact and assimilate information for moving the business forward in the most efficient way.

The Who is where BG5 consultants can dive deep into being able to help recognize the strengths, talents, and gifts of each. Recognizing everyone’s personal interaction style, and the interpersonal dynamics at work, a BG5 consultant can immediately point out the potential hot-spots in employee interactions. The BG5 consultant can coach the leaders directly on who the best candidate is for the job, how to get the most out of their people, and guide team members on how they can maximize individual strengths, characteristics and qualities to their best advantage for themselves and the company they are a part of.

“Creating a culture of engagement requires more than completing an annual employee survey and then leaving managers on their own, hoping they will learn something from the survey results that will change their daily behavior. It requires a company to take a close look at the critical engagement elements that align with performance and with the organization’s human capital strategy. Managers and leaders should keep employee engagement top of mind — because every interaction with employees can have an impact on engagement and organizational performance.” Gallup: The Worldwide Employee Engagement Crisis, 2016

A BG5 Consultant can engineer and educate people on how to work best together as a cohesive group to increase organizational performance. Knowing where to capitalize on individual strengths and shadows, as well as how best to interact with others helps create a culture of correct engagement and encourages everyone reach their highest performance levels.

BG5 Business and Career Consulting takes coaching to a whole new level. As the world’s most advanced people assessment tool, BG5 accurately helps business solve their toughest problems of employee engagement – resolving our most pressing people issues of why and who to boost fulfillment and productivity.
